My First Baking Fiasco...

So I had an order from my brother Colin's girlfriend Kali for cupcakes for a bridal shower that would have about 45 people in attendence. The shower was on a Monday but I didn't have time to do them until Sunday evening. We didn't get done with dinner until around 8:30 and I was super stressed about getting all of these cupcakes done before it was too late. So Colin, Kali and my mom helped. Kali made all of the frosting, Colin lined the cupcake tins and made the white chocolate A's and my mom was just very helpful to me. I had to quadrupal my regular cupcake recipe. So after we got the batter done and in the oven Colin took Kali home and my mom and I got organized. I opened the oven at 11:06 (yes I still remember the exact time) and looked at the cupcakes... they had all spread out before they decided to sink in... needless to say I was in a panic. My mom and I tried to salvage them but it wasn't working. There was definitely something off with my messurements. So my mom and I were brainstorming and she said you can call Rosauers and order 4 dozen unfrosted cupcakes. I called Rosauers and asked what time the people in the bakery got in adn they said... 3am :/ So I set my alarm for 3am and woke up and called them. They said they could do it but only in white chocolate, red velvet, and carrot cake. I said yes to the first two and no to the last. But there was still one problem... I had to work in the morning. My angel of a mother said that she would frost them and add the decorations for me! I felt kind of bad but was so relieved. In the end Colin and my dad ended up helping my mom... and here is the result! I am soooooo grateful to my family for helping me out in a time of need!
